Who we are

Codeframe is a trading style of MKCIT LIMITED, registered in England & Wales (company no. 16953736), registered office 9 Hatfield Court, Reading, RG31 7AL. MKCIT LIMITED is the data controller for the information described here. Contact: hello@codeframe.co.uk.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. The company that hosts the site keeps ordinary server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and protect it.

If you email us

We use your message and address only to reply and to discuss your project, and keep them for as long as that conversation, and any work that follows, needs.

If you use the chat

• The chat is answered by an AI assistant, not a person. Nothing is sent until you open the chat and send a message.
• We store the conversation (your messages and the replies), a random conversation id, a one-way scrambled form of your IP address (so we can limit abuse without keeping the address itself), and technical usage figures.
• Conversations are stored on our own servers in the UK and deleted after 90 days.
• To write replies, your messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (in the USA), which processes them on our behalf under its commercial terms.
• If you give an email address or ask to speak to a person, the conversation is passed to our team so someone can reply by email.
• The chat keeps its conversation id in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. It is not a cookie and is not used to track you.
• Please do not share sensitive personal information, passwords or payment details in the chat.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@codeframe.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
